I saw my very first Hairy Coo in their native homeland, Scotland. From that very first meeting I found that these majestic creatures are my spirit animals. My heart just feels so happy and calm in their presence. So when I met Rebecca at Cobbity Markets and then later met her and Andrew’s coo’s when collecting an item I’d purchased, I was beyond excited that we had such an incredible herd so close to home. Well last week all my Christmas’ came at once when I found out they’d be opening their family farm to visitors and Mum, Max and I were their very first visitors! Rebecca and Andrew are two of the loveliest people you’ll ever meet! I am so happy that I can now support them at the same time as getting my hairy coo fix! To say that I’ll definitely visit again would be stating the obvious! I may have already enquired about a season pass! Lol.. Thank you Bon Rean Highlands!

Had the best morning hanging with the gorgeous Highland cows at Bon Rean. Got to feed & pat them. Bruce stole my heart

Andrew & Rebecca were amazing,informative & friendly.

Highly recommend for any age. Loved it

I was honored to visit the majestic and cheeky highland cows this evening. I cannot describe how beautiful they are. I was able to feed them, pat them briefly and just enjoy watching them on their farm. This is a MUST for everyone… kids, teens, adults and the elderly.

Would love to do a high tea or cheese platter in the fields near them.

So beautiful, I had tears in my eyes as I first saw them

Highly recommend this wonderful experience. We were greeted by Miss C who was such a great personal guide. There are lots of photo opportunities not just with the Highlands Coos but there's lots of other animals too. Thank you to Andrew, Rebecca and Miss C for your time and great laughs! We will definitely return for another visit.

An absolutely gorgeous and wholesome experience!
We visited as an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, and what better way to relax than meeting beautiful Highland cows and experiencing farm life.
Rebecca, our amazing tour guide, was super knowledgeable about all the farm animals' husbandry and a pleasure to meet.
The picturesque farm is the perfect place for a picnic, with plenty of spaces to choose from.
I cannot stress this enough — try the homemade pumpkin jam. We simply cannot get enough of it.

Whether you're after a day trip experience for the whole family, or a taste for sustainable and wholesome farming, this place is worth the trip.
Thank you so much for the amount of hard work and sustainable, ethical practises put forward.
P.S. — to the resident horticulurist,
Ms. Charlotte, your succulent has found a home amongst the rest of our plants. Check out hydroponic propogation — it makes for some brilliant plant displays and is a great way of using upcycled jars:).

What a great morning - my girls were so excited from the minute they opened the car door to find Max the dog ready to give us all a really excited welcome!

Rebecca and Andrew could not be more welcoming and we loved everything from the tractor ride to the piggy & bunny cuddles and the cow brushing.

An especially amazing time to visit with a brand new calf, baby bunnies, piglets and even a baby donkey!

We are already planning who we will bring along for our next visit

What a wonderful day out. Beautiful property, the owners were absolutely lovely and so welcoming. The whole experience was great. They obviously love their animals, happiest Highland cows I've ever seen! A donkey, chickens, pigs, bunnies and the welcome committee are 2 gorgeous golden retrievers. Take the family, take a picnic and enjoy. 100% recommend.

The best couple of hours today. With little Jack as our tour guide. The knowledge he had about the animals was incredible! Emily his little sister was the expert at joining the picnic and was a very polite sweet and chatty little girl.
